Have a minimum of one call monthly. The support provided is very wide-ranging and priorities can change from month to month, based on your business needs. For e-Commerce clients we take deep dives into Amazon FBA fees, take an in-depth look at SKU profitability and regional profitability, review contracts, lead negotiations with suppliers and if needed prepare the business for sale.

Here at Mint, we are dedicated to supporting and assisting clients to grow their businesses. As your business grows, there comes a point where the continued development and growth of your business will result in the need to introduce a Financial Director.
We offer a fractional FD service, where we provide the services and support an internal FD would. The benefit of engaging us to do this is that we already have access to and understanding of your financials and can provide the service part-time, likely saving you money. Our Fractional FD service is delivered by Allison Walker, who boasts extensive FD experience and sits on a number of client boards to provide strategic advice for growth and business development.
What services do we offer?
Fractional FD: Forecasting Support Only e-Commerce. Our Fractional FD support with forecasting only involves the setup of your forecast and then monthly maintenance and reporting against the forecast. For eCommerce businesses, we develop your forecast with you at SKU level. From there we develop the cost of sales and overhead forecast. We then build this out into a cash forecast and use analysis of economic order quantity for your inventory purchase planning. Once operational, we bring your forecast reporting into your monthly management reports providing dynamic forecasting and monitoring against actual business performance. The set-up fee for the forecast and reporting is £750+VAT. The monthly maintenance and reporting cost is £450+VAT per month. This assumes 1 hour of Fractional FD time and 2-3 hours per month of an analyst's time.
Fractional FD Full Support - non e-Commerce Businesses. Under the Fractional FD service, what we do is dictated by you and the needs of the business. We take an approach that is fairly free-ranging and will provide advice and support on anything you wish to focus on. Generally, your Fractional FD would: Review management reports and provide deeper analysis and commentary on these. Prepare long range forecasts and cash forecasts and, once in place, review and update these. Review pricing and profitability. Continually review the business structure to consider business restructuring and tax planning. Host board meetings and prepare board meeting packs. Have a minimum of one call monthly. Provide one to one support for the managing director or existing Finance Director to upskill or plug knowledge gaps for the senior team. The support provided is very wide-ranging and priorities can change from month to month, based on your business needs.
